33 1/3 Global

33 1/3 Global is a series from Bloomsbury that takes everything you know about 33 1/3 – amazing authors, iconic albums, and a wealth of music history – and expands it, focusing in on popular music that hails from various regions throughout the world.

Going global means that we are taking on more editors who will focus on these regions, creating a comprehensive collection of popular music volumes. Each region itself will yield its own collection, culminating in an international library of albums from which to choose. With initial volumes focusing on Japanese and Brazilian music, the series will also include volumes on the popular music of Australia/Oceania, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and more.
