Today is essentially the last day of summer for me, as it marks the end of my summer internship (I’ll be back part-time in the fall though, don’t you worry!). September is right around the corner and, with it, an insanely busy fall semester. I’m overwhelmed just thinking about it.
But what better way to send off the summer than with Ella’s beautiful rendition of “Summertime”? Ella Fitzgerald is and always will be my go-to example of the closest a person can get to vocal perfection. Give her a classic Gershwin tune to sing and you’re guaranteed a mesmerizing performance.
Here’s to the last few days when the living is easy, fish are jumping, and the cotton is high. See you all again in the fall!

Katherine, Great song! Thanks so much for helping the world “better know” me earlier this summer. Best of luck during the upcoming semester.
Rock on,
Steven
